TPS problem!
somehow when i set the TPS to .5v at close throttle the motor starts up and dies quickly... the lowest i can set the tps at close throttle is .7v ..... the WOT is at 4.5v which i think it's normal.... what do u guys think it could be? this is on a stock internal b20v with upgraded TB,manifold, and header... and it's running on a p28 chipped ecu and i dont know what program.

it idles around 700-750 rpm with a bog... kinda like backfiring...

do you have a little bog when you give little hits of gas, and do you find your car backfires and runs a little rich?

that is the same exact problem im having!!! if i give it a little tap of gas from the pedal, it bogs, and when i try to keep a steady rpm say like 2500rpm i hear it backfiring, and i smell gas rich buring from the tip of my exhaust pipe!!
I also have been trying to adjust the TPS back and forth with no luck, where ever i set the Volts at on the TPS it doesnt stop the bogging or backfiring... the idle on this motor is not all that good too!! it stays right at 700-800rpm but keeps on going from 700-800 like it's having hard time idling, if i rev it up to like 2000rpm or so, it falls back down pass 600rpm like it's going to die before the rpm goes back up! I want to dyno tune the motor but im not sure if it's gonna fix this problem....
Somebody Help!!

when I set TPS's I only focus on being exactly 4.50v at WOT. Far as I can tell, the ECU is fine with lower than 0.5 closed because 3 of my cars were lower than that out of the factory.
If you're having a bog, I would guess there's an airflow problem. Make sure your idle screw is where it should be and that your fuel system can keep up with all the extra air a 68mm TB lets in.

what about if it's at .6v closed?? will the ecu still be okay with it?

My idle screw is all the way closed, i am running a GSR fuel pump and obd2 b20b fuel injectors.... do u guys think a dyno tune will solve this problem??

If that's where you need to be for normal idle speed then you're fine. A Civic I tested OEM was at like 0.38v so .6 isn't that surprising.
I thought about this some more and a bog would be too much fuel, not air. A tune may be exactly what you need. How's your timing?

it smells rich from my exhaust. Timming is a little off on the Intake cam(retard), i think it's due to the head being resurfaced before.
