Cam Plug removal - HELP
Help me out guys. I've tried searching but cant seem to get the right answer. I'm trying to take this plug (#8 as seen in this picture):
Is there a special process to replace this plug? I've already earned a few bloody knuckles tryin to pry this f*cker off. Do I have to take the VC off as well as the Cam holder?
Also, I took my VTEC solonoid off to replace the gasket and found some metal flakes inside the little screen/gasket.... is this something to be concerned about?

Don't worry to much about the metal in the screen. Rinse it out and put it back on.
If you want pull it off again in a few weeks and look for metal. If you see it, then worry.
Chances are it's been there for years.

Thanks man! Oh... one more question. Is it safe to use hondabond on the solenoid gasket?

Yeah, I was debating on weather or not I should just replace it. The stealer wants freak'n $25 for that little gasket.
Oh well, gotta do it the right way. Thanks!
One last question guys, I promise haha. I asked this in a different section with no answers. Are the cam plugs from B16's the same as B18's? Both are VTEC heads.
