Default TPS problem

Hondata s200 p72 ecu,

TPS reads at a constant 26%

tps sensor is good, also tried another tps sensor
tps wiring is good, 3 wires were ran just to be sure, correctly following wiring diagram

something must be causing it to default 26%

wiring/sensor/ correct

anyone?

Did you somehow switch the TPS and MAP sensor plugs on the throttle body?

That would have been the easy fix. Have you measured the voltage at the TPS connector and the ECU inputs?

If the voltage is changing at both locations (TPS and ECU), your ECU is most likely faulty. I'm not familiar with the Hondata programming. Could a faulty .bin file cause the TPS to be ignored?

i'm not sure, but i just checked the voltage again, 0-5volts as you increase, thats not it,
i'm wondering if something else is causing it to default 26%

Was this 0-5 volts was also observed at the ECU plug? I'm just trying to rule out a wiring issue. Has the ECU or engine harness been modified in any way?

a 3bar was added, the tps is now straight wired back to the ecu, correctly,

ecu has a s200 hooked up to it.

i received the car not running so i dont know if it had the tps issue or not

26% is a default value yes. It sounds like you have the 5 volt reference and the varying voltage signal wire switched. Check voltage at the ECU not at the connector.

checked at the ecu, the voltage is correct , .50 at closed and 4.50 at WOT, i think it might be in some sort of limp mode causing it to stay at 26% tps

Make sure the pin is fully seated in the connector (remove the connector and look to see if the pin is flush like the others). If that's ok, look to the Hondata.
