Default TICKING...

i have a b18c1 in my crx and there is a loud ticking noise coming from the head and more toward the front of the engine.
i just did a valve adjustment and replaced the injectors
i dont have an oil pressure guage so i dont kno if it is the oil pressure.
i took the oil cap off while it was at idle and there was a little oil spraying up
could it be that the exhaust manifold has a small leak, something was stuck in one of the holes so i couldn't put a bolt on so there is only 8 bolts holding on the exhaust manifold
any help would be greatly appreciated

If it's an exhaust manifold leak, sometimes they go away when the engine gets hot. Also, they are fairly easy to spot, just look for the carbon or feel around with the engine running.

It could also be a sticky lifter, my GF's 626 had a very loud tick and that's what it was.
