Default thrust washers

what would happen if i didnt use thrust washers....because i know a friend lookin an engine and the guy said when he put in the main bearings and rod bearings he did use any thrust washers he said you dont really need them and he hasnt had any problems but im curious to if thats true please lemme know

grab the crank pully and push/pull and you will see what happens.

You'll need a new block, crank, and rods.

ok thanks guys thats what i thought but i wasnt sure so i wanted some opinions and advice cuz like i figured that would be the case i mean why would honda even put them there if they had no use ya know thanks alot

You dont need it if you dont want the crank to stay together.

at one time in my life on the first engine i ever took apart years ago i didnt put them back and suprisingly it ran for a long time with no problems.. but they are there for a important reason
