Throwing Codes 7 and 14- Need Help
just installed the motor and the car will not rev past 2k, and struggles to get there at the 1.5k point. originally had an aebs manifold on there, which i thought the problem might be. swapped it back with the stock b16 and still the same problem. i've even swapped the throttle body with a known working one with all sensors, but still came across the same issue. also, the car idles rough and high when it's cold and then all of a sudden will drop down to normal idle speed out of the blue.
now, my question is this, could it be the tps, wiring, or just possibly the ecu? it's running off of a chipped p28. it's a 92 civic with ls/vtec, if anyone needs to know. this is driving me nuts 'cause before the motor was torn, it rev'd just fine.
any help is appreciated!

nope. already checked that. you can tell immediately once the car is cranked whether or not the two are switched. the car idles fine when warm, just can't rev past 2k.
