Default swap overheating

i have a b18b in a eg hatch, now that it is getting warmer outside i have noticed that when i am at idel my temp rises a lot. when driving the gauge is at about 3/8 of the way up. then when i am at idel it goes up to about 3/4. i dont have any mods to the colling swstem, is this normal????shuld i upgrade, or would a vented hood help? thanks

i would check your water pump
have you flushed your coolant latley?
do you have coolant ?
thermostat bad?

dont think "upgrade" until you've looked for a problem

might want to check all the lines. Bleed the system again, test the thermostat, and make sure you fans are kicking on. Also may want to try a compression test to see if your headgasket is ok.

If you havent upgraded your radiator, that might be something to consider. A common one is replacing your single core( im assuming you kept the stock rad) and replacing it with a dual core.

I had the same problem. I swap to a del sol vtec dual core one.
