Default Coolant problem

a couple months ago i replaced the radiator in the 92 civic b/c there was a big hole in it........car ran fine for awhile..... a couple weeks i take the car out for a spin to make sure everything is working okay..... i shut the car off and hear bubbling water. open the hood and the coolant resevior is making a boiling noise!......the other night i finally got around to t aking a look at it and tried bleeding the system but it wasn't helping tons and tons of steam was just comming out and couldn't get it right......went online to try to see if anyone else had the problem........yesterday i changed the headgasket and put a new thermostat in........car ran better but the coolant was having the same problem....the temp. gauge is reading just fine where it should be......am i not bleeding the line right? any suggestions? any advice would be greatly appriciated!

so i have done

-timing belt and pump in march
-radiator
-headgasket
-thermostat

help me out please!

is the coolant diluted too much? i had this issue after my swap. the coolant was too watery so it was boiling out, and also i neglected to hook up the radiator fan switch.

The reservoir is bubbling or the radiator is when you take the cap off? I'm just a little confused. I'll try to help once I understand. It sounds bizarre.

Actually water is much better at cooling then coolant, just it can freeze and it cause corrosion, thats why its mixed with coolant. take of your radiator cap, is it broken? is the spring loaded center still there? if its not the system wont pressurize and the coolant starts to boil. for every psi the coolant system gets the boiling point of the coolant raises. so if its not pressurizing its going to boil out of the oveerflow. also check your fan motors make sure it turns on!

the coolant isn't boiling.....it's just making that kind of noise when the air bubbles are comming out of it through the reservoir tube.... the radiator is brand new...the cap is also brand new..the cap reads 16psi...which if i'm not mistaken is pretty high. i've spent hours trying to bleed the system and it just wont do what i want it to do

dude is the cap... probaqbly you just burn out the cap, on one of the tries that u gave to the car.... replace it for a new one..
when the cap , is busted,, the pressure gets to the tank re...
and that's what you hear the bubble noise on the tank..

i used to have the same problem but after a replace the thermostat. i also had to replace the cap..!!
and problem solved!!

cap was still good....new one came with new radiator.......however after taking the NEW thermosat out and hooking everything back up without the thermostat in.....everything was good! and after taking back the thermostat and playing with a few of the new ones i finally got one that worked and put it in....ran good.........now the problem is the motor feels a little bogged down and when i floor it in 2,3,and 4 the check engine like kicks one but goes off when i turn the car off and on....not sure what that is but it's gettin some new sparkplugs tomorrow and hopefully she'll be getting me 40mpg again!
