stripped crank at flywheel bolt
One of the flywheel bolts on my b16 is stripped due to the flywheel coming loose Just the first two threads of the crank. Should i retap it or just run a die down to clean it up? Anyone know the size of the flywheel bolts?

Re: stripped crank at flywheel bolt (MisterB)
if it's only the first two threads, then I would re-tap it to the same thread pattern, shouldn't be too hard. if the BOLT is stripped then I would replace it with a new one.

Re: stripped crank at flywheel bolt (poison)
a few of the bolts are messed up so i will replace those.
what size are the bolts or should i just take one down when i get the tap?

i also agree with the above post just use a tap to trace the threads and try to torque the bolts if they have side to side play in them or you cant torque them to spec you will probally need a new crank
also replace the bolts that were the problem
