Default starting and idling problem.. need help

Hey guys, my civic was running perfectly normal 3 days ago and then we got a huge rain fall and i was driving it died and didn't want to start.. (last time it rained it did the same thing to me, but it decide to start back up and work fine..) I'm trying to figure out what could be the problem, the fuel pump primes up and everything so i don't think that could be the issue, the car is starting but very rough to the point where it could be starting on just 1 cylinder or all 4 but varies. it starts rumbles a little bit, or shoots up to 2.5k and dies.. I'm pretty stumped on the issue.. another thing i should mention was a i got gas during the rainy day, but i don't think the gas was bad. Car is a 94 eg hatch with a b18b1 swap. Any help i would really appreciate just trying to get back on the road so i can go to work thx!!

Also, Bad plug wires can cause this in the wet. Open hood at night and watch for arcing between damp wires. You can spray water on them if it's dry, but much easier to see the sparks at night. Just don't touch the wet wires while it's running

How is the distributors cap gasket?

#9... http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...ystemcomp=List All&vinnoT=&trim=&trans=&view=normal.

Also as mentioned, pop the hood, [at night] when it's running poorly and look for arcing from the plug leads.

Another thing to check is the spark plug "tubes", make sure there is no moisture or dirt/oil/crap down the tubes or on the plugs, [use compressed air to blow them out]. 94
