By "I swapped my hatch" I assume you mean you did an engine swap, correct?
If the cluster and signals worked before the swap, and not now, my guess is you forgot to plug something in.
Eg is not a lot of help, what is the MM&Y of your car? 94

hey guys sorry i am not sure were to post my problem, I'm not trying to intrude. I have a 94 civic dx, new fuel pump, fuel filter, wires, plugs, alternator, battery. before i got the the new alternator as long as i got a jump the car would always start.... Now it will only start when it wants, I am dumb founded as to what the problem is, Once it does start it runs perfect, I don't know what else the prob could be, or what to troubleshoot now, Someone told me i may have a ground issue, Any input or suggestions appreciated, And again sorry if this is not were i should post this. Thank You
Signal dont work- check FUSE or the Emergency Hazard switch is not plug, so check that also. OR you forgot to plug the harness to the cluster lol

Temperture- Check the sensor plug underneath the distributor like a pin

RPM- May be your distributor. Open up your distributor cap, there is 1 wire on the ignition module. That might not be hooked up or ICM might have went bad for that section. If it's not that, then it could be something else that I might not know? Bad cluster?

However, if the left head light works the fuse is good, you will have to pull the cluster and test the red/green lead in the cluster plug(s), it is the only red/green going to the cluster, it should show 12V+ when ign. switch is on.
If you have power at the red/green, [at cluster] check any/all black ground leads going too the cluster for continuity to chassis ground, [any ground point] if good, the problem is the cluster.
If no power at the red/green, [at cluster plug] check the red/green at the 20 pin plug on the under dash fuse box, [again with the ign. switch on] if there is power there, the problem is between the cluster and fuse box, [broken lead], if no power o the red/green at the 20 pin fuse box plug the problem is the fuse box or the plug, [unplug it and check for corroded/damaged pin/socket].
For the signal lights, question, do the hazard lights work?94
Ok thank u all for the help. I will recheck everything u guys said,
My harness is connected though, when I took off the dashboard
There was a thin black wire loose , it was screwed on to the
Thing that moves the tires , (steering wheel area) so i don't know if that could be it?
