Default squeeling noise?

hey guys whenever i step on the gas of my 97 civic theres a slight squeeling noise that sounds like its coming from the drivers side of the motor...its only when i step on the gas kind of hard when im just driving on the highway it does not do it unless i get on the gas a little hard...any ideas of what it could be? some kind of belt? thanks for any info provided

I guess it is possible it is the timing belt tensioner, the belt itself can not slip and squeal, it can "jump" the cogs, but that's another can of worms. 94
