sputtering or possible misfire at low end
just swapped in my b16 into 90 crx si.. got it running ok ... but its sputtering down low from off idle to about 3000, from there on up it revs pretty fine. i hvaent driven it yet becuase i hacked up my clutch cable bracket only to find out you can use it the way it is.. i checked the timing belt marks evrything seems to be right where it should be... i put in new cap rotor plugs, wires, water pump thermo t-belt... im also getting some sort of whinging/ humming noise seems to be coming from alternator or timing belt area i rechecked the tension of both which seem to be fine not too tight not too loose please help
i ended up taking it for a ride and got it to throw a cel... i jumped the connector and got a code 1 ... 02 sensor... i was about to do the testing procedure, and turned the key without the connector jumped and noticed that there were two more codes a code 10 and a code 6 ... IAT sensor... and engine temp sensor..not in particular order.... my question is this can i use the sensor from my d16a6 because they look almost identical... just to see if it runs better??
