Default smelly situation?

when i drive my car around the insie of the car fills up with some insane smell. Im not sure what it is. I figure either exhaust or oil burning smell. Has anyone ever had this problem? The smell is realy strong. Almost unbearable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and the smell is coming from a civic dx with a b16 turbo.

are you sure turbo oil return/feed line or oil pan gasket isn't leaking oil onto exhaust while driving. this could cause issue. Have also seen oil pressure sending unit leak a lot of oil and cause this issue too.

Keep us posted on what you find...

If you roll up the windows and leave the fan on and recycle it should pressurize the inside and not let in air from outside. It should make it more bearable.

i checked. the oil return line is leaking. gonna have to weld it on now. Ive tried rolling up the windows and running the fan. Works for a lil bit but then the smell returns. could it be since i am not running a catalytic converter?

I have the very same problem w/ mine also. I have a eg gsr turbo and the smell is really bad and strong. As if someone didnt know how to make popcorn and over burnt it. What I did to get rid of my smell was, FIRST-I took out the turbo kit, SECOND-did an oil change, and THIRD-let my car idle for about 30-45 mins. Now my smell is gone. Im assumming it has something to do w/ the turbo and the oil return line.
