I have a friend who's shifter has a lot of play in it. What is it?? Do they need to replace the shift linkage or is it something else. It isn't the shifter itself, that is tight on the linkage. Could this possibly be within the transmission?? If anyone can help Thanks. Oh and its a 91 Integra.

just replace shifter bushing with polyurethane bushing.
