Default Sleeved LS block piston questions

I am getting ready to put pistons in my new block and i have a few questions. I am definantly going JE since i hve nothing but positive experiences with them in thepast. The problem is that all the 84.5mm psitons that I see are for the B20s. Are the pistons from these engines interchangable? Also what piston rings do you recommend? I have used the supplied ones from Je and the stock Honda ones in teh past with good luck but I only want this engine to be put together once.

the B20 blocks has a 84mm bore and the LS block has an 81mm bore. So if you want to put the 84mm pistons from the CRV into the LS it won't fit, because one is bigger than the other. So i guess your answer would be no they are not inerchangable on the piston part. for your LS block if you're going for honda type R pistons than i would recommen honda rings, and if you're going with JE than just go with JE rings, these companys doesn't make rings for the pistons for nothing.
good luck on your motor, hope i helped

I understand the bore is different but I sleeved my block and went to the 84.5mm bore. So are all things equal besides the bore? I didnt know if the wrist pin height or anything else is defferent between the two engines.

you could us LS rods and the LS crank for the pistons. LS has the same rods and crank as the CRV. if you did get longer rods than you're going to have to move the wrist pin up on the pistons. but if you're not change the rod stroke ratio or having a stroker kit by the crank than everything should be fine.
