Sizzle???
i got home today and i just decided to look under my hood..it was rather warm. So i then dripped some water on my header and it like sizzled. I know engines do heat up quite a bit but is this normal? what is the best way to keep your engine cool?
Umm, of course it's going to sizzle. Your exhaust gases are approaching 1600 degrees sometimes. It gets damn hot under there, just don't touch it.
As long as your cooling system is fine, you're good to go.

is it good when your done to put a fan on it. Ive seen some dyno testing and they have like 3 fans going at them...Is this a good idea or does it even matter?

dynos have fans blowing air through the radiator because the car is being redlined while it is stationary -- i.e. : there is no air flowing over the car otherwise. if you're really worried about it, you could always wire a switch to your stock radiator fans so that you can turn them on/off.-tony
I wouldn't get header wrap... it's not good for street driven cars, because the header can rot out faster. Just make sure that your cooling system is in good shape... if you think you're running too hot go buy a colder thermostat. If you're still running too hot consider upgrading your radiator.
