Default should i get a carsound cat?

just ordered my jdm dc header last night and now i'm looking for a cat. i want to go w/ a carsound cat, but after all my searches a lot of people are talking about how they die on them. now knowing this i don't wanta get one if it's gonna die on me in like 3 months. what should i get or should i just stick w/ getting that one?

Save you money and get a test pipe. I went through my carsound cat in like 5 months. So I just gutted the cat .

If I gut my cat what is the interior diameter? Will it be too large and reduce the exhaust velocity?
