Shifting to fith
alright, this has nothing to do with a honda, but this is the only site i can get to right now.
i am looking to buy this 1990 mitsubishi eclipse with a stock no turbo 92 eclipse engine and a turbo 92 tran.
the guy says it wont go into fith ever since he installed the new clutch and everything, he said it would have to be adjusted and bled.
should i believe him? and when i go to get the car inspected what should i ask the mechs to look for?
thnx for the help.

If the clutch had to be bled, then it wouldn't go into any of hte gears, not just one of them.
Try to row the gearbox into fifth gear with the engine off. If it blocks you out, then you need to look at the shift linkage or separate the transmission from the linkage and isolate the problem to inside the gearbox.
