MAP problems...HELP!!!
I have searched but I can't seem to find the right way to wire my MAP. I have a 99 Civic SI and I put a JDM B16A in. Wires from ecu are yellow/red, red/green, green/white...wires on plug that I am splicing in from the JDM motor are green/white, red/blue, yellow. Can anyone help me?! My motor starts and doesn't want to idle for a couple of seconds until the CEL comes on and then it idles good, horrible low RPM throttle response though. I have switched the MAP out with a known good one from another B16 and the car wouldn't start. I have tried wiring several ways. HELP!
Obd1 for reference:
d21 = sensor ground
d19 = +5v dc
d17 = map input
OBD2a OBD2b Function OBD1 Color
D03____C17___MAP____D17 Pink/White
D04____C19___VCC1___D19 Yellow/Green
D12____C07___SG1____D21 Green/Blue
I'd assume if you took a multimeter and tested the connections (grounding each one individually, ignition on), you'd get +5v at one pin, 0v at another, and a varying voltage (if any) for the third. Chances are those aren't the wires. THe TPS wires are different too, so I can't really help with OBD2.
Otherwise it will be easier just running new wires to the harness, to those pins posted above.
