Default Shift Light

I did a search in here and few topics asked about how to make a shift light, but there was no answer. If anyone out there knows how please let us know. I just want to know which wire on the ECU should I tap into. Thanks for all responses.

Umm, theres a RPM signal wire going to the ECU regardless of VTEC.

go pick up an MSD #8950, which is an rpm activated switch, hook it up to the tach wire and choose your rpm with the pills that are sold seperately...
then find yourself and led or whatever kinda light u want and hook it up to the output side of the box..
I tried finding a cheaper way for myself but theres hella work involved to make the curcuit so just buy the box... it will be cheaper in the long run..
