Ok, I was looking in my engine bay earlier (the B16 was put in my car before I got it) and there are a lot of wires that are showing/looking ghetto as hell. So, I started tracing some of them. One in particular that I cant trace just ends and it dangling Another is a single wire going to some sensor just below the Intake manifold. It has a green plug. Two more sensors just below that, right next to the oil pressure sensor (what are these?). And what is the sensor below the distributor? and both plugs below the vtec solenoid are...????

the one right under the intake manifold(green) is knock sensor. there is also some coolant sensor bacl there as well(2 wire), under the vtec sol. are the coolant temp sensor and vtec oil pressure switch.

There is the green plug under teh IM, then two more sensors that look just like the one that is under teh distributor (btween the upper rad hose connection to the block and the hose that goes to the heater controls), and the green plug and white plug near the vtec solenoid.

Are you saying that 2 wire green plug under the IM is the knock sensor?

is the engine in that CRX you have pictured? Is your check engine light on? Also what engine harness are you using? If it was put in before you got the car, someone could have hacked any gsr/ex harness and you used that, which would explain all the extra plugs

 

well the plugs arew actually attatched to the engine. I'm pretty sure when they installed it they used the stock CRX Si engine harness and added a few wires...It just looks very sloppy and I cant tell whats what and I would like to know what each of the sensors are.
