just dropped a b16 from a del sol into my 92 vx hb and i know where to run the knock sensor wire into my ecu but i don't know where to run it to on the engine, where the heck is the knock sensor and how do i convert this 5 wire o2 sensor into a rgular 4 wire one?????????????????
It is under the intake manifold and it is a green plug. It is a bitch to get off. I just broke mine trying to pull the plug off of it. $135.00 later, I may be back in business.
Be careful.

thanx for the help guys, i just spent two hours looking for the damn thing ( my engine is already in along with the head installed so its pretty cramped in there ) and i still dont see that , i am beginning to think thats maybe the b16s dont have them and on b18's do , i am going to take the head off tommorrow just to make sure i can get a clean look , that must be a b18 in those pics because its looks a little different from mine , but again thankx at least i know where and what im lookin for
Hey:
Its there on the B16. I don't have an Acura dealer in town, and the Honda dealer refuses to sell me anything for an Acura (!), so I ordered the knock sensor for a 1999 Civic Si instead.
You can kind of see it from the passenger side of the car looking under the intake. It is nearly impossible to see from the driver's side. You have to do the pokey-feely method.
Good Luck

yeah - fan comes on -
im using hte Prelude radiator which has the fan switch located on the bottom of the radiator near the bottom outlet,
so my fan comes on. (i also have an override switch for it to turn it permanantly on in heavy traffic on hot days)
thanks Giuseppe - i have been wondering about it!!!
