car is running really rich sometimes bogs while i accelerate and gets bad gas mileage. Checked the CEL and got #5 changed the map sensor 3 times and still get the same code and run way too rich. What are some things i can check to get rid of this problem.

mods: 2.25 full exhaust, GSR block, type-r pistons, b16 head, gsr cams, 1st gen throttle body, stock headers. p72 ecu

Did you check the vacumn line to the map sensor for leaks?

 

yes i did check that

 

Did you check the wiring and connectors going back to the ECU?

 

i will give that a try

 

still didnt fix it

any more ideas?

 

check your injectors i had a injector that was stuck open and mine did the same thing it would bog and i got real shitty gas mileage. Does it only bog when its cold or all the time?

 

Is you cam timeing right?
