Default Rod bearings

well i think that i ran my hatch(b18b1) a lil hard this weekend at the track, it is ticking really bad, it is hard to say where its coming from? but noise is mostly from the block area, could that be a rod bearing going out? pls help

If its a loud ticking it might just be the clearance between cam and rocker arm. Do a valve adjustment and see what happens. If its the bearings its usually a knocking sound.

You might want to get a long srew driver and place it on the short block and cylinder head and hear the viberation. is it tapping? if it is then you might want to do a valve adjustment.
