My rev meter on my b16a2 is acting strange, when i get to around 5000rpm it jumps forward halv an inch at then stops then jumps again, vtec kicks in as usual. Could it be the rotor? or the hole distributor. Anyone had the same problem?

 

use an ohmmeter and check your coil.

Mine jumped too and fixed it by replacing the coil.
