i have just finished rebuilding my type r motor. Motor only has 60k on it and i was wondering if i can resuse the same head studs becuase i miled the head .010 lmk . If i use the headstuds again what should i use to seal the threads talking about lock tight,sealant, or anything like taht.

 

Shouldn't reuse stock headstuds-- get some ARPs or AEBS.

Ya you can, but if you have the money to buy the ARP's do so, but if your broke then reuse them, I suggest the ARP's

 

Ive reused them 4 times with copper spray, never a problem...

I always put everything to the test!!!

 

I've reused the bolts on my old B16 before, but i would still recommend new bolts.

 

look to see if there streched before you reuse them i dont recomend it but you can but just buy arps
