used arp head studs?
i plan to put together a ls/vtec motor and i came upon a used set of arp head studs. so i was wondering if it's ok to use *used* arp head studs. also how can you tell if it's real arp head studs and not stock oem head studs? thanks.

ARP head studs are like 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000x less likely to stretch than stock ones and I have seen people re-use stock ones. Most people buy ARP's because they can be reused + they are very very strong. I would say, buying new ones or replacing them everytime u took off the head would be a large waste of $$$.

ok i have one more question. i have a b16 head but the studs he got are for the gsr. will it be ok to use those on my b18a block because i heard you're supposed to get the studs that are for your head. (ex. b16 head; b16 head studs)
