Default Reuse headbolts?

I'm really short in money right now and was wondering if I could maybe re-use my headbolts just once? It look like it in good condition.

I did, then a couple months later the headgasket started leaking. So I had to tear it all apart again, put in a new head gasket, and threw in some arp head studs. I'm never making that mistake again

$80 bucks now, or 2-3x that soon!

Just buy new headbolts, or wait til you have the money!

I really want to order some new arp headbolt, but i'm really short in money! On the helm manual, they did not states anything about reusing headbolt or not. What are the chances of leaking? Is it pretty minimal?

You never know man, it's not writen in stone. If you do though, dip them in straight 30 weight oil/or anti-seize.. I've reused stock head bolts many times, though on iron head/blocks, could diffenlently be worse on your all aluminium motor...

ive reused mine 2 times...the previous owner had work done and i dont know if they replaced the bolts or not.
1. previous owner did head work( which was done wrong)..not sure if bolts were replaced.
2. i took head off to inspect the problem and replaced headgasket
3. replaced valve seals and re-used head gasket because it was 3 weeks old.

i have had no problems whats so ever...no coolant loss, no abnormal oil loss, no coolant/oil mixture, and the work was done almost 2 years ago and had numerous races/redlines on it.

i was told you can reuses them a few time but dont over do it, this go around with my bottom end rebuild im opting for arp headstuds
