Reuse head gasket?
how bad would it be to reuse a headgasket? im really strapped for money so if i dont have to buy a new one i dont want to. lemme know

What exactly are you doing that you need to reuse one? If you have a D series, being strapped for cash isn't a good enought reason. I bought one for my y8, cost $30 brand new from honda.

It is DEFINITELY no recommended. But, I am going to say people have done it and gotten away with it.
Definitely check the condition of it before you put it back on. Clean it up as much as you can.

you shouldn't reuse your old headgasket. you should also have your head checked and machined before putting it back in.....don't think of doing what u have just asked unless you plan on taking your head out sooner or later.

well i had to take my head off cuz i had to replace the pistons. but i guess ill just buy one if it is really necesarry and its on an ls/vtec by the way.

I would just replace it, better safe then sorry. Unless you want to risk it, and then have to take the head of again a couple weeks later.
