Default Retarding timing

How much should you retard the timing on a B16 with a stage 2 revhard kit? Is two degrees enough? Thanks.

What PSI/Bar are you running??? Do you have a boost controller or just a preset wastegate.. Tell us a little more info.

Back it down a few degrees then see how far you can bring it up without detonating.. On 9 PSI you probably wanna go back a little more than 2 degrees... Latez

you need to do more than just retard your timing if you want to achieve full potential out of the engine/turbo. But for now, retarding your timing will deffinately help with detonation

Is your motor internally stock?? My friend ran his B16 in his EK and pulled a 12.7@106 on 7psi... He was just running a Drag kit with stock ECU and VAFC.. Your RevHard kit is a lot better.. hehe
