Default Re-use Head Gasket?

I was debating on whether or not to post this but i gotta know and cant find the answer any where else.

I am getting ready to put my head back on my car and im now at the head gasket, Its a new oem head gasket, by new i mean i bought it new and i put it on and ran the engine for 30 mins in idle.

How important is it to replace it? I know there are the factors like warpage due to the heat ect. but is it really neccessary if it only ran for 30 mins?

i would buy a new head gasket if i was you. so you can avoid future problems like leaks. alot of people use cooper spray when they reuse head gaskets.

Just use some copper spray like Ruben19 suggested and you'll be just fine reusing it. I have done so myself on many occasions and the engine was run for much longer than 30 min.

Yeah, if you have the head off already, why not pay just a little bit of money and replace it now. Do it right or do it twice. My friends does the copperspray trick but it's because he's always taking heads off blocks and swapping things around

That is a tough one, but I would have to replace it and save the other one for a beater motor.

you can reuse a good known head gasket but you risk very minor leaks

Minor leaks+PSI= major headache... well not really just have to do it again. Still just a PIA.
