quick spring retainer install question. for all you mad mechanics
well just getting ready to install my portflow springs/retainers in my gsr hatch and i was wondering if i need to pull the rocker arms and the shafts they ride on out to get to the springs and retainers? oh im doing this with the head on the engine and a valve spring compressor that bolts to the head.

If you're doing it with the head on the car, make sure you pressurize the cylinder so you don't drop a valve.
And you don't need to pull anything except the parts you need to get off to get the cams out.
Tweezer-type tool will help you out here.
