i would take the pan out and oil up the bottom end. Then try turning the engine with a torque wrench for results.
Remember that most people that buy swaps; slap it in, put oil in it and crank it up. \
For all you know the engine could of sat for 10-15 years in the junkyard

turn the motor around on its stand; take the pan out and spray oil all over the rod caps, mains, inside the oil pickup to make priming easier, etc.

Fill it up with about 10 quarts of oil. Turn the motor over by hand a few times. Then drain all oil and refill with proper amount of new clean oil and filter.

cool~~ it's doable~
so which way should i use? is it more the pain in the *** to take the pan out or spend some extra money to fill the engine oil up? LOL

I honestly think it would be fine without either method but it sounds like you want to be extra cautious. I'd be more worried about a rats nest in my exhaust. That's gonna stink! lol

install motor, fill with oil, disconnect dizzy/fuel injecvtors, dry crank for 30 seconds......what for the oil light to go off

hook dizzy and injectors back up, fire it up!

really? you think i worried too much?
well i just dont' want to have a long *** problems after i installed the motor..
like i would like to figure everything out while the engine is out before i install it..

if its a swap
then the tranny and starter is on there

make sure it s full of oil
hook up some jumper cables and jump the starter remote wire to crank the motor(make sure trans in neutral)

you mean disconnect the plug that goes to dizzy and fule injectors then turn the ignition to crank it for 30 sec. ?? what do you mean by the oil lights?

is it better to juse hand crank it? oh by the way, how do i check to see if the gears are in neutral?
