dented oil pan OIL STARVATION?
quick question. how much clearance is there between the oil pickup and the bottom of the oil pan?
the reason i am asking is because i just finished dropping the tranny on one of our gsr's and i dented the oil pan when supporting the engine with a jack and piece of wood. The dent isnt too deep maybe ~.25" maybe a little more. Should i be worrying? I havent put it back together yet so if i absolutely need to pull the pan off and straighten it out i can.
