question about head?
i got a dc sports header for my 97 civic, and i had to burn a cylinder header bolt off from the stock manifold, cuz right now im sitting here with 2 holes in the header, one im missing a nut for the other one, 2 i had to take the full head double threaded stud out. and i got one for free from honda, so can i just use pliers to twist that in?
yea i understand its messed up, ill try again....
I own a 97 civic dx, i bought a dc sports cermaic header 4-1 for an ex, and when i was taking off the stock manifold, i couldnt get one of the nuts off the stud on the head, so i had to use propane flame to burn it as much as possible, and finaly got it off, but it came with the whole stud instead of just the nut. so i got a free stud from honda, and all i need is the 2 nuts one for the one i lost, and the other for the new stud i got. now to put in the new stud can i just use pliers or something to put that in, since there is obviously no head for the stud?

use two nuts (haha) put one in and put the other one next to it, so the one in the inner part tight it counterclockwise, and the one on the inside, tight it clockwise, then you use the one on the outside to put the stud in
^how did that happend?^
