can the inner ring be pressed out? my prothane inserts dont fit

 

I'm not sure, but you can dremel it out. There was a writeup somewhere about filling your mounts with eurethene and the guy used a dremel tool

 

yea...there is the outer base aluminium...then a steel sleeve and then the mount rubber...you need to get the steel sleeve out or else it wont fit in properly....i used a screw driver and hammer to hit the sleeve and break it...once its broken...used the screwdriver to bend it and itll come right out

 

Here's what I did. Take the blade off a hacksaw, put it on the inside of the mount, re-attach, then saw away at the inner sleeve. Once you have a cut, you can bend the sleeve around and pop it out of the mount. good luck
