alright i just finished my swap in my accord of a jdm h22. The problem is that i had to replace the TPS cause the one that came with it was broke, so i used my accord one. Anyways im pretty sure that i installed it wrong so im gonna try to fix that but my question is.... could the tps be causing my vtec not to engage. It will work at certain times, i think it works before the CEL comes on. But then it wont work, also it pretty much falls on its face cause of the tps, if i give it full throttle it acts like its not even half throttle

also with the vtec when it doesnt kick in at the regular spot if i keep going it will kick in really quick at like 7k rpms
please help i need to know if this is all related thanks in advance

 

recalibrate it man, your vtec needs the input of the tps to engage and work
