cant calibrate TPS properly, help!
hello HT, im having a bit of trouble with my tps.
i've been trying all day to calibrate it, but my problem is i cant get it to read .5 volts at idle and 4.5 volts at WOT without turning the tps so far that the screws no longer line up- im not even close to being able to screw it back it when it is turned far enough to reach the proper voltage.
i did some searching but it seems like no one was having a problem like this. what should i do?
its worth noting that im pretty sure my throttle body is NON-oem, and the TPS sensor i found for it is from a d15 or d16 non vtec i think. the sensors are the same physically so i didnt think it would affect anything.

Re: cant calibrate TPS properly, help!
well i've attempted to just use sealant to glue it where it needs to be to hit 4.5 volts, hopefully it holds up and works fine.
i'd still like to know of a more permanent solution, seems weird that no one has had this problem before?
