Default power steering ???

So dose taking out your compleat power steering system really make power? Is it worth it or better to just leave it in? this is on a 99 Ls daily driven turbo . thanks

Well, taking out powersteering will free up some power. There was a dude in the type r forum who gained around 5whp just by unhooking the belt. Also, many find the improved steering feel the biggest plus.

i didn't notice much gain, but i do like the feel better. except when im on the phone at a red light starting turning and need to shift.
