just ordered a unorthodox underdrive pulley,.. but it only runs the alternator. i have a 1990 integra, is it gonna be alright to run no ps ? i mean i know its gonna be a pain in the *** at first but i'll get used to that im just wondering if its gonna burn up my rack and pinion. atleast if i know soon i can return the pulley. thanks for your help

 

if you want a few extra horsepower and dont mind the extra effort to turn your wheel, then it might be worth it. i wouldnt take it off. thats my opinion. theres a reason why the car comes with it... confortability and convenience. if you dont care... then take it off.

 

You get used to it real quick and it feels much more responsive, I took mine out and I love it now.

he is asking about the wear and tear on the rack... check on g2ic.com there is a nice write-up on how to loop the rack so theres some fluild in there... many ppl on there have done it and had no problems for a while... do a search in their fourms or check the "teg-tips" i dont remember where it was exactly..
