poor mans type R
you can basically form a "budget" version of a c5 with a p72 block and a pr3 head. with some internal upgrades you have a nice high-revving frankenstein motor of a different sort. a little more displacement helps out a little with the torque problems usually associated with a b16, and keeps the top-end power with a head that can be built identical to a c5. upgrade your pistons and your low compression problems will be history
usually when you do a poor mans type r, you switch the pistons also. im debating between the "poor mans R" and a b16 stroked with ls crank and rods. still got some research to do, but i think i know what i am going to do.
