Default Polycarbonate window

So recently my GSR's back glass shatter into a billion pieces. I have a carbon hatch, and glass is expesive. $1400 from safelite. $700 plus shipping from auto parts websites. So I started looking at FAL's Lexan lightweight windows. They are made of 1/8 polycarbonate. My question is it possible to drill through this material? Is it sort of like pexy glass as opposed to real glass? I thought I saw that it was possible to rivet these windows, but cannot be for sure cause I can't relocate info. I need this for mounting the 3rd brake lamp. I guess I could glue it on, but I'd rather bolt it in.
