please help me, or i'm gonna go nuts!!!
i've just put on a big bore throttle body on, and now my car idles at like 1500 rpm or has a spuratic idle that goes up and down. it won't sit in one spot. has anyone else had this problem? is my ecu reading to much air or something? please help me..anyone. thanks

disconnect your idle sensor, and screw down your idle to whatever you want (usually 750-1000rpm) then reconnect the idle sensor, switch off the engine, reset the ECU, turn on the engine after resetting ecu and let it idle for 10-15 minutes. switch it off again, then turn it on again and drive
usaully what happens though, is that when the car is cold it will idle fine. its just after i beat on the car or drive it for a while, then the car will idle high or iradic. like1500rpm
u might want to clean the TB and put a new gasket, make sure its the right gasket, cause i was running a gsr gasket on an ls TB and it was idleling high and going up and down put when i put the LS Gasket it when back to normal, gaskets mean ao this days, lol
