I had my air intake hose go bad on me so I went ahead and replaced the air intake hose and box with a Cold Air Intake Kit, during the installation I had to move the fuse box out of the way... Now after I have everything back in place my car won't start. I need help narrowing this down... I have a cable that doesn't seem to be connected to anything and I was wondering if this cable might be the problem. It doesn't come out of the Positive battery cable harness. It comes out of the other harness that goes into the fuse box, I looked around but can't seem to figure out where it goes or what it plugs into, I added a picture of the cable below.
While I was doing the installation my lights were on so my battery might have drained and that is why Its not starting but i would like to rule out this cable before I go ahead and jump the car or get my battery checked. Does anybody know where this cable goes??
Black/White stripe wire is the starter signal wire. This means that you have a break between the starter signal post and the keyswitch. Look for a junction plug between those two locations... the blue rubber on the male pin in your photo is a waterproof seal normally found in a grey connection plug. This means that the pin was pulled out of a plug somewhere... find it and put it back.
