Default Piston to wall clearence

Ok, im putting in P30 Pistons in my GSR block. Now the cylinder walls need to be rehoned and the pistons are stock bore. My current piston to wall clearence is .0035. Would I be good if I had it honed to .004?

You would be better off just getting oversized pistons. .004 is pretty loose for a cast piston.

.0004 to .0016" is the factory standard. I've had best results with a .001" clearance, and that is what I would recommend.

Hey thanks for the input on my question about the piston to wall clearence. Now would I be able to use my standard bore P30 pistons after I rehone the cylinder walls or would I have to go with the .0025 over?
