i tried too....i can get it out of the bottom seat...but i can't get the freggin hose off the side/top of it....little bastard. it's in a really hard place to reach and you can't get good leverage on it.

yea man, im gona pick up a few dif size n/n pliers. They would have made it less of a pain in the ***..and i just need them cause they have so many uses.

just move the hands 
versus replacing it you can get away with using a little carb cleaner to make it move again.
