I broke something...(PCV valve?)
So i was doing something and i saw a clamp that was on the hose wasn't were it was suppose to be so, I took a needle nose pliers and i moved the clam to where it was suppose to be. Its a brown breather nipple. After i moved the clamp where it was suppose to be and i touched it a little to see if it was on tight i heard a snap. and off it came. I pushed it back in and it didnt pop out. Does anyone have any idea what that part is or did i mess it up. It was from a 96 Ls manifold. I made the arrow to make it easier as to what i am talking about. That is the most accurate picture i can find, since i cant find my phone...
Thanks!
P.S where the arrow ends is the place I am talking about... Sorry for the long arrow.

Re: I think i might have broke something...
The funny thing is the brown cap came off... is that normal? I'm guessing no... This has never happened to be before on any of my LS motor's that i swapped in. Sorry for the stupid questions.

Re: I broke something...(PCV valve?)
Carefully pull the lower white half of the PCV valve out of the rubber grommet without letting it fall into the IM, and then buy a new valve and install it.
