Hey guys....finally posting something that has been boggling my mind. I got a p28 from ebay (probably wont be doing that again), visually everything looked perfectly stock. ONLY thing was that the original owner had pulled off the side lable which describes which ecu it is...luckily he didnt remove the other lable thats inside the ecu.
Now my QUESTION. I just converted this ecu to 5speed, socketed this p28 with a low profile dip socket, 74hc373 rom, resistor, etc. I plugged in a few of my programs and I get a solid check engine light. I snipped the j1 and still throwing a solid check engine light. All my soldering points look good, i just dont know whats wrong.... any input of what I should check?
And no I didnt even check to see if the ecu worked when I recieved it...
stupid me
thanks in advance if you have any helpful input
