I did the conversion but when vtec kicks I get a check engine light (code 21)
vtec will last till the end of the shift but in the next gear there is no more vtec so what i do is turn on and off the car and the check engine light come off and i'll have vtec for one more pull...
Now vtec is set at like 6300 I did not have a reusable chip so i had to use one that was preprogramed that i had laying around...
I have used another ecu and it works fine with it...
so what component could I have burnt or be bad?

 

i had the same problem bro.. I only cracked vtec a couple times.. but once my car warmd up the next day.. it threw a code 21..My ecu isnt burnt or anything.. .. Did you figure out why its doing that?
